Remote Direction

Summary

This system allows recording while conversing with a director or other person in a remote location.
The system allows a performer, engineer, and director to talk to each other while sharing the Protools screen by connecting to a remote director via Discord or other means.
The Protools audio is transmitted to the remote director with no degradation using dedicated software.
This is useful when a remote director needs to participate in a session, or to give editing (mixing) instructions from a remote location.
The fee is the same as the studio reservation fee, but please reserve one hour more for preparation.
Pre-testing is not impossible, but will incur the normal studio booking fee.

System

We will use the tools Discord and LISTENTO.
. An environment (microphone, headphones, etc.) that allows Zoom and Discord calls on the director's side is required.
Discord and LISTENTO run in your browser, so there is no need to install them.
This test was done on a MacBookPro, so there may be other requirements depending on the environment on your side.

Test environment:
MacBookPro (2019)
 Built-in microphone
 Built-in headphone output

Satoshi Yamamoto

He launched some albums and made music for TV show, but he he got sickness after that (focal dystonia), then began sound engineering. In the recording session, he put importance in monitors for easy play, rough mix for easy judge, smooth comunication, speedy edit, bold arrange, creative atmospher....
